Data We Collect

  • • GameSettings Copy (used to detect unauthorized modifications)
  • • Replayfiles (Stores replay data for analysis of suspicious behavior)
  • • Game Location (Stores installation path to detect manipulation)
  • • Hardware Info/ID (Identifies hardware to prevent fraud)*
  • • Process Scanns (Scans running processes for cheats)
  • • Running Lua files (Identifies scripts used for unfair advantages)
  • • Screenshots (Captures in-game screenshots while you are ingame)*
  • • IP Adress (IP addresses to detect multi-accounting or VPN usage)
  • • AutoStart status (Checks if the anti-cheat system runs at startup this only applies in special cases)
  • • Keyboard and Mouse Input (Used to detect pattern, automations and keyhooks we do only capture special inputs)

Metadata and Sentry Files

In addition to direct data collection, SENTRY may generate sentry files, a proprietary format storing anonymized metadata for up to three (3) months. These files do not contain personal information but may be used for statistical and security-related analysis.

GDPR Compliance

Basis for Processing

SENTRY processes data based on:

  • GDPR Article 6(1)(a) (Consent): Users must agree before playing.
  • GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (Legitimate Interest): Necessary to ensure fair gameplay and prevent cheating.

Without consent, the anticheat and its online services cannot be used.

Data Storage and Retention

Primary anti-cheat data is stored for 24 hours and then automatically deleted unless extended under legal requirements. S3 Upload is used as a method to securely transfer relevant anti-cheat data to our servers. Anonymized metadata in sentry files may be stored for up to three (3) months. All data is securely stored on encrypted servers, and we do not use any third-party implementations for storage, ensuring that your data remains entirely within our control.

Data Sharing

  • No personal data is shared with third parties unless explicitly authorized by the user or legally required
  • Anonymized metadata may be used for internal analytics and security improvements.

User Rights

Users have the following rights under GDPR:

  • • Access to their collected data
  • • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • • Deletion of their stored data.
  • • Withdrawal of consent (which may result in restricted access or account suspension).
  • • Complaint to a data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR) if they believe their rights are violated.

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes.
